WORK STATEMENT

The works showcased at the exhibition represent my inner world and my response to the outer world … the connection and how I feel nature is both around us and deep within us. The organic seed pod forms represent the very existence of our being. The hollow form represents our physical body and all the impressions and experiences we gather through the process of life. Flowers, plants, trees, botany, animals, cells, anatomy, bodily systems, weather, geology, matter, energy, fossils, any of the natural sciences, water, fire, environment, conservation, natural history, processes, evolution, birth, growth, ageing, decay, change... All being a part of the process which we call as life. These forms represent the process of life. It is an expression of the Flow within and the impressions of it on the outside. These forms are built organically using the basic coiling technique, it is a slow process which allows time and space to breathe, take pauses, absorb and comprehend.
